Who I am?

Today is LovLoops 2nd anniversary and I just couldn't start this new space without talking a little about myself and a little bit about what LovLoops is to me!

Glad this is me, Jenifer, the person behind LovLoops!

I'm Brazilian, but I've lived in Berlin for 4 years. I am 34 years old, married to Robson and have two dogs, Joullie and Joey. From time to time they appear by LovLoops 🐶🐶.

Anyone who has been with me for some time probably already knows, I am a pharmacist, a specialist in Quality Management in the Production of Medicines, Food and Cosmetics, Master and Doctor in Bioprocess and Biotechnology Engineering, but all my titles and the change of country made me lose myself while trying to find me. During the quest to find Jenifer who got lost amidst many titles, an extensive resume and an ocean away from her homeland, LovLoops emerged. She was born shy, just as a hobby and a delicious companion to my lonely days in Berlin. Gradually she gained strength and was transforming along with me. Today, I can only say that she is my daily fuel and in many ways I made peace with the Jenifers of the past, made peace with my diplomas and found a new Jenifer, full of energy, authenticity, with new hobbies and other goals.

I grew up among threads, needles and paints. Maple, crochet and macramé since I was 9 years old. I learned crochet with my mother, while I learned embroidery and macramé in a course that my grandmother "forced" me to take for 2 years. I say "thank you", because at age 9 she didn't really understand the reasons why she wanted me to attend these classes instead of English classes. Today I am grateful for the skills I gained back then.

LovLoops, in addition to bringing me back, brought me photography and today it is part of the essence of LovLoops. Many of you have come this far, and are still here, because of her. I will confess that I never saw myself as a photographer, you were the ones who saw some talent in me and urged me to follow this new path. And I will say... what an amazing way! Photography changed my way of looking at the world. She makes me pay attention to details. She makes me wait for many minutes for that ray of sunlight, which has hidden behind a cloud, while I adjusted the camera settings. She makes me see possibilities where I probably wouldn't before. She brought me people. She brought me back. She makes me time travel. She made me change my status from enthusiastic to passionate. She makes me want to be better every day.

In addition, I have a passion for new places, science, movies/series, dogs and crafts. I love a "Do it yourself" project, and many times these projects become "Do it yourself with your husband's help 😂"! My wedding was full of these projects! I like thrillers and I'm a fan of Friends. I like caipirinha, mate and strawberry ice cream. I go crazy with cute things for home and I can't help but mention that my day only starts after a cup of coffee!

This is a summary of my world!⠀⠀

LovLoops has my best, and even though I am often exhausted, with punctured fingers, with a aching wrist, with a tired mind, I go there...firm...giving a little piece of my soul every day, and receiving from you an energy that I never thought would exist. So, to the new ones, they are all welcome. To the old ones, it's good to know that you're still here! Thanks for the support and affection every day!
